Xiaohong WU graduated from the School of Forestry, Northeast Forestry University with a Doctor of Agriculture degree in 2010 and completed her postdoctoral research in 2015. She joined Northeast Forestry University in 2001 and has worked as a counselor in the School of Forestry, School of Traffic and Transportation, School of Landscape Architecture, and School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. She has successively held the positions of School Youth League Committee Secretary, Deputy Party Committee Secretary of the School, and Grade-5 Staff Member. She was promoted to Professor in 2025. In July 2026, she assumed the duty of a counselor at Hainan International College, Northeast Forestry University.
