
I. School and College profile
Northeast Forestry University Hainan International College (HIC-NEFU), located in Lingshui, Hainan, is a secondary college of Northeast Forestry University (hereinafter referred to as "Donglin"). Relying on the resource policy advantages of Hainan Province and Donglin's professional strengths in smart forestry, ecology, information industry, "dual carbon", carbon sink economy and other fields, as well as the university's one-to-many high-quality overseas university educational resources, the college builds an international first-class education park with the characteristics of Sino-foreign cooperative education and independent education abroad, cultivates international talents, and promotes the innovative practice of higher education worldwide. It serves the national development strategy and boosts the development of a free trade port with Chinese characteristics.

Ii. Project Introduction
To serve the international education development strategy of the university, Donglin has reached a strategic cooperation with the University of Technology Sydney to establish an Overseas Study Center (CLC) at Hainan International College. Through joint training, students recruited by the overseas partner university in China will be accepted. After completing one semester or one academic year of study at CLC, students will go to the overseas university to continue their remaining undergraduate courses. Those who pass the assessment will be awarded a bachelor's degree certificate by the overseas university and can apply for degree certification from the Ministry of Education's Overseas Study Service Center.
3. Training mode and Degree awarding
The program is divided into two study phases: domestic and overseas.
Bachelor's degree: 0.5 years or 1 academic year (domestic) +2.5 academic years (overseas), eligible candidates will be awarded a bachelor's degree from the University of Technology Sydney.
Honours Bachelor's Degree: 0.5 or 1 academic year (domestic) +3.5 academic years (overseas), upon eligibility, will be awarded an Honours Bachelor's degree from the University of Technology Sydney.
4. Program Strengths
1. Direct language access, no IELTS/TOEFL score required
Personalized study plans are designed based on students' different language foundations. After passing the DEP test (a language test recognized by more than 20 overseas universities), students can continue their undergraduate studies at overseas universities without providing IELTS or TOEFL scores.
2. Joint training, credit recognition
International credit courses are taught to students by relying on the faculty of Donglin University, a 211 university, and UTS, a world top 100 university. Credits from qualified courses will be recognized by overseas universities.
3. Smooth transition and early adaptation to the study mode abroad
The system enhances students' English proficiency, provides a teaching environment and course model close to those of overseas universities, and lays a solid foundation for students to study abroad.

It offers a variety of specializations for students to choose from, including business, engineering, science, etc., to meet the diverse needs and different career development requirements of students.
5. Introduction to the University of Technology Sydney (Australia)
The University of Technology Sydney (UTS), founded in 1943 and located in the heart of Sydney, is a renowned public research university in Australia. UTS offers more than 130 undergraduate and more than 180 postgraduate programs, covering both traditional and emerging disciplines. UTS values practical education and nurtures students' engineering literacy and enhances their professional application skills through real-life scenario simulations, internships and work practices.

6. Major Choice and Study Plan
Students who complete four international credit courses in the domestic stage and pass these courses will receive credit recognition for four courses in the following programs at UTS.

7. Admission criteria and application requirements
1. Recipients
Senior high school students, current and former high school graduates, and those with equivalent qualifications.
2. Application requirements
Provide a high school diploma and high school transcripts, and determine eligibility based on high school grades.
Note: The program offers a free English test before enrollment and provides customized study plans for students based on their scores.
8. Application Method
Applicants are required to complete the Overseas Study Centre CLC Study Application Form (see attachment), and send the electronic version to clcproject@126.com with the email subject "CLC-UTS+ Name". The University of Technology Sydney will organize interviews, and the interview time will be notified separately.

9. Fees for the domestic stage
1. Tuition fees
International credit courses: AUD 12,995 (about RMB 61,000) per semester
Language courses: AUD 8,150 (approximately RMB 38,000) per term
2. Accommodation fees
A four-person room costs 1,200 yuan per semester (excluding air conditioning and utilities), and air conditioning and utilities will be charged separately by the test area.
Note: The above fees do not include processing fees such as visa for going abroad. The college will not charge any fees in any form before the student is admitted.
