The Youth League Committee of the university and Hainan International University jointly held the first and second phases of the 2025 "Coconut Grove Achievements, Youth Practice" theme study and practice camps.
The camp combines theoretical learning with immersive practice, focusing on themes such as red education, ecological civilization, cultural inheritance and scientific and technological innovation, guiding Donglin students to broaden their horizons, hone their skills and strengthen their ideals and beliefs while walking. A total of 516 students signed up for the two sessions. After confirmation, 59 students from 14 colleges participated in the first session, and 53 campers completed the requirements of the practical curriculum system. A total of 36 students from 11 colleges participated in the second session, and 32 of them completed the requirements of the practical curriculum system. Twenty-two wechat post links and two video works were formed, with a total view count of over 41,000. The number of followers on Hainan International College 's official account increased by 1,116, and the number of followers rose by 111.6%. The event was covered by media platforms such as Lingshui Li 'an International Education Innovation Experimental Zone and Northeast Forestry University.
In order to comprehensively summarize the results of the study tour and practice, and in combination with the overall performance during the camp, the quality of the practice report and the situation of the final defense, it was decided to graduate the first batch of campers, 53 students including Ding Xin 'ai from the College of Life Sciences, and the second batch of campers, 32 students including Yu Mingchen from the College of Literature and Law. According to 15% of the total number of campers, 9 outstanding campers were selected in the first session and 6 outstanding campers in the second session.
The results of the selection are now being made public. The list is attached (in order of the strokes of the surnames). The public announcement period is from April 14 to April 16, 2025. If there are any objections during the announcement period, they can be reported to Hainan International University under the signed name.
