On the afternoon of September 12th, a consultation meeting for theNortheast Forestry UniversityExclusive Building in the Ling'ao International Education Pilot Zone of Lingshui, Hainan was held. Vice President Zhai Xuefeng, a member of the Party Committee of the university, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
Zhai Xuefeng introduced the development process of the university's efforts to promote the establishment of the Hainan International College, and analyzed the location, resource and development advantages of the Lingao International Education Pilot Zone in Lingshui, Hainan. He stated that the establishment of the Hainan International College is a new growth point for the university to advance the "Double First-Class" initiative, and it is a strategic choice to answer the major question of "What shouldNortheast Forestry UniversityUniversity do to contribute to building a strong educational country?" He emphasized that designing and building theNortheast Forestry University-exclusive building well is a crucial step in the development and construction of the Hainan International College. He called for the full play of the functions of the university's major project working group to pool collective wisdom and efforts to build theNortheast Forestry University-exclusive building. He also required the relevant functional departments and colleges to foster a sense of ownership, scientifically and reasonably plan the functions and layout of the exclusive building, meeting both current needs and long-term development, and ensuring both adaptability and flexibility. They should work together to build the exclusive building well.
At the meeting, Liu Zhiming, the president of Hainan International College, introduced the construction situation of the college and the overall planning of the exclusive building. Relevant functional departments and the main responsible persons of the college attended the meeting.
Based on the preliminary research, after comprehensive calculation of the school scale and exclusive area indicators, the total construction area of this project is initially determined to be approximately 46,890 square meters, including a total above-ground construction area of about 42,890 square meters and a total floor area of about 39,890 square meters. By reverse calculation based on a floor area ratio of 1:2, the required land area is approximately 33,242 square meters. The planned design functions of the project include teaching, research, communication, exercise, performance, and lectures.
