On the morning of July 20th, Liu Ming, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director (in charge of daily work) of the Hainan LingshuiLi'an International Education Innovation Experimental Zone Administration Bureau, led a team of five to visit our school for research. A symposium was held in the 1008 Conference Room of the Comprehensive Office Building. Li Mingze, a member of the school's Party Committee and Vice President, attended the symposium.
At the symposium, Li Mingze, on behalf of the school, welcomed Liu Ming and his team and expressed gratitude for the support the Experimental Zone Administration Bureau had provided in promoting the construction of the Hainan International College of Northeast Forestry University over the past period. Li Mingze introduced the progress of the joint venture with the University of Technology Sydney and other related work, further analyzed the current situation and opportunities for the construction of the Hainan International College, and had in-depth exchanges with Liu Ming on major issues such as the construction of the exclusive building for the Experimental Zone and the equipment of laboratories. Li Mingze stated that the school attaches great importance to the cooperation with the Experimental Zone, continuously plans and promotes the reform and innovation of education, and will take the construction of the Hainan International College as an opportunity to contribute the strength of Northeast Forestry University to the cultural and educational cause and ecological civilization construction of Hainan.
Liu Ming introduced the main purpose of this visit to the school. He said that as one of the key parks in the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port, the Experimental Zone's important function is to promote the construction of the "Hainan International Education Innovation Island". He highly praised the school's strategic layout for the efficient and orderly promotion of the construction of the Hainan International College. Liu Ming stated that promoting the construction of the Hainan International College of Northeast Forestry University is a powerful support for optimizing the discipline layout of the Experimental Zone and an important measure to promote the opening up of education in the new era and the exchange and cooperation between Chinese and Australian education. Liu Ming introduced the overall planning for the phased and gradual construction of the Experimental Zone in the future, as well as the beautiful expectations for the Hainan International College. Liu Ming said that in the future, they will work together to promote the construction of the exclusive building for Northeast Forestry University and support the school in building student laboratories.
The participants also exchanged views on the planning and start of the exclusive building, the dispatch of teachers and students in the autumn semester, project management, Party and League building, and other work. Deputy Director Yuan Songyang and relevant department heads accompanied the research. Liu Zhiming, the dean of the Hainan International College, Li Jingcai, the secretary of the direct Party branch, and Ma Rui, the vice dean, also participated in the research activity.
